The Royals now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grapevine for a 5A Region I District 7 battle on Friday, January 13. Richland will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 67-60 league win over Argyle (Argyle, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-9.
The Raiders (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX). The Panthers come into the 5A Region I District 7 battle with a 16-5 record. In their last battle, Colleyville Heritage was nudged by Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX), 71-67, in a league battle.
