The Bearcats now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richlands for a Southwest battle on Thursday, January 12. Virginia High will confront a Blue Tornado team coming off a 75-49 league loss to Graham (Bluefield, VA). The Blue Tornado record now stands at 3-8.

The Bulldogs (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Marion (Marion, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes come into the Southwest battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Marion beat Holston (Damascus, VA), 52-34, in a non-league battle.
