In Tuesday's league outing, the May Tigers (May, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Baird Bears (Baird, TX), by a margin of 54-4.
The Tigers (15-9) will now prepare for their outing against Moran (Moran, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Region II District 13 outing with a 3-13 record. In their last outing, Moran was crushed by Rising Star (Rising Star, TX), 28-17, in a league outing.
The Bears now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Cross Plains for a 1A Region II District 13 outing on Friday, January 13. Baird will clash with a Buffaloes squad coming off a 46-27 league loss to Eula (Clyde, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 20-4.
