The May Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Baird Bears to 19 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moran for a 1A Region II District 13 contest on Monday, January 30.

The Bears (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX). The Buffaloes enter the 1A Region II District 13 contest with a 24-5 record. In their last contest, Cross Plains was routed by Eula (Clyde, TX), 39-38, in a league contest.
