Bellevue Eagles (Bellevue, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Midway Falcons (Henrietta, TX), 34-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Bellevue upgrades its record to 1-12 on the season. The Eagles host Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX) to clash with the Bears in a 1A Region III District 22 bout on Friday, January 13. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Slidell Greyhounds (Slidell, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 bout, on Friday, January 13. Midway will attempt to upgrade on its 9-15 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 19-3 record after their 59-19 league win over Bellevue (Bellevue, TX).
