In Tuesday's league outing, the Gruver Greyhounds (Gruver, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Booker Kiowas (Booker, TX), by a count of 80-18.
The Greyhounds (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against Stratford (Stratford, TX). The Elks go into the 2A Region I District 1 outing with a 15-7 record. In their last outing, Stratford smashed West Texas (Stinnett, TX), 52-10, in a league outing.
The Kiowas now hold a 6-14 record. They play next when they host Sanford-Fritch for a 2A Region I District 1 outing on Friday, January 13. Booker will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 48-38 league loss to Sunray (Sunray, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.
