Wisconsin High School Basketball - Mineral Point can't hold off Cuba City

The Cuba City Cubans basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Mineral Point Pointers to 49 in the Cubans league victory on Tuesday.
The Cubans now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fennimore for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest on Friday, January 13. Cuba City will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 60-41 league win over Riverdale (Muscoda, WI). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
The Pointers (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI). The Panthers come into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Iowa-Grant edged Southwestern (Hazel Green, WI), 42-34, in a league contest.
