The Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN) basketball felled the host West Ridge Wolves (Blountville, TN), 58-38 in Tuesday's league test.
The Trailblazers (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN). The Indians go into the 4A District 1 test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Dobyns-Bennett was beaten by Gate City (Gate City, VA), 51-50, in a non-league test.
The Wolves now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host David Crockett for a 4A District 1 test on Friday, January 13. West Ridge will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 70-41 league win over Science Hill (Johnson City, TN). The Pioneers record now stands at 15-3.
