In Friday's league match, the host Daniel Boone Trailblazers basketball team scored a good 53-41 triumph over the West Ridge Wolves.
In their next game, the Trailblazers meet the Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN) in a 4A District 1 match, on Tuesday, January 31. Daniel Boone will attempt to better on its 19-6 season record.
With the defeat, West Ridge moves to 6-9 on the year. The Wolves travel to Union (Appalachia, VA) to meet the Bears in a non-league match on Saturday, January 28. The Bears enter the match with a record of 10-6. Union won 36-35 in their recent league match against Central Wise (Norton, VA)
