The Dimmitt Bobcats basketball team (Dimmitt, TX), was overwhelmed 49-16 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX)
The Tornadoes now possess a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Friona for a 3A Region I District 3 battle on Friday, January 13. Lamesa will battle a Chieftans team coming off a 52-20 league loss to Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX). The Chieftans record now stands at 1-12.
The Bobcats (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against Littlefield (Littlefield, TX). The Wildcats come into the 3A Region I District 3 battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Littlefield trounced Brownfield (Brownfield, TX), 56-38, in a league battle.
