The Dimmitt Bobcats (Dimmitt, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX), 44-37 in Friday's league test.
The Bobcats (6-17) will now prepare for their test against Littlefield (Littlefield, TX). The Wildcats go into the 3A Region I District 3 test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, Littlefield got by Brownfield (Brownfield, TX), 34-31, in a league test.
The Tornadoes now own a 14-17 record. They play next when they host Friona for a 3A Region I District 3 test on Tuesday, February 7. Lamesa will encounter a Chieftans squad coming off a 43-37 league loss to Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX). The Chieftans record now stands at 1-19.
