The Cougars (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Mustangs go into the 1A Region I District 8 outing with a 18-5 record. In their last outing, Sands defeated Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX), 79-28, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now hold a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Loop for a 1A Region I District 8 outing on Friday, January 13. Grady will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 37-22 league win over Dawson (Welch, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 5-12.
