The Klondike Cougars ran past the host Grady Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 42-26 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 game, on Tuesday, January 31. Klondike will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 23-5 record after their 71-19 league win over Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX).
With the defeat, Grady moves to 12-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Loop (Loop, TX) to face the Longhorns in a 1A Region I District 8 game on Tuesday, January 31. The Longhorns enter the game with a record of 6-16. Loop won 33-18 in their recent league game against Dawson (Welch, TX)
