The Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA) basketball crushed the host Hancock Central Bulldogs (Sparta, GA), 51-15 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cobras (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA). The Warriors go into the A D2 Region 5 test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Wilkinson County was trounced by Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA), 18-12, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Glascock County for a A D2 Region 5 test on Friday, January 13. Hancock Central will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 73-51 league loss to Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-8.
