New Jersey High School Basketball - Passaic nips Kennedy

Passaic Indians (Passaic, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Kennedy Knights (Paterson, NJ), 45-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Passaic upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Indians host Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ) to play the Bulldogs in a Big North - Liberty bout on Thursday, January 12. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Passaic County Tech lost 45-27 in their recent non-league bout against Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ)

Next up, the Knights play the Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ) in a Big North - Liberty bout, on Thursday, January 12. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 34-25 non-league loss to Bergenfield (Bergenfield, NJ).
