The Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) basketball felled the host Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI), 37-24 in Tuesday's league test.
The Vikings (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Warriors go into the Lakes Valley test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Walled Lake Western thwarted South Lyon (South Lyon, MI), 53-46, in a league test.
The Captains now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mott for a Lakes Valley test on Friday, January 13. Kettering will encounter a Corsairs squad coming off a 39-17 non-league loss to Fitzgerald (Warren, MI). The Corsairs record now stands at 2-6.
