The Ledyard Colonels basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Waterford Lancers to 27 in the Colonels league victory on Tuesday.
The Colonels now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montville for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Ledyard will battle a Indians team coming off a 43-21 non-league loss to East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Indians record now stands at 1-7.
The Lancers (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Wheeler was routed by Putnam (Putnam, CT), 32-26, in a league contest.
