The Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) basketball nipped the host Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT), 50-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Colonels (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Whippets go into the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Windham got by Griswold (Griswold, CT), 56-41, in a league test.
The Lancers now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they host East Lyme for a non-league test on Thursday, February 9. Waterford will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 49-35 league loss to New London (New London, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 7-11.
