In Tuesday's league outing, the Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX) basketball squad beat the host Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX), by a margin of 38-22.

The Rebels (5-14) will now prepare for their outing against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX). The Bobcats go into the 6A Region I District 2 outing with a 13-12 record. In their last outing, San Angelo Central was beaten by Odessa (Odessa, TX), 48-43, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Midland for a 6A Region I District 2 outing on Friday, January 13. Permian will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 72-27 league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-12.
