Texas High School Basketball - Permian ripped by Midland Legacy

The Midland Legacy Rebels basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Permian Panthers to 14 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rebels now sport a 6-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midland for a 6A Region I District 2 contest on Friday, January 27. Midland Legacy will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-22 league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-16.
The Panthers (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against Odessa (Odessa, TX). The Bronchos enter the 6A Region I District 2 contest with a 18-13 record. In their last contest, Odessa was routed by San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX), 50-32, in a league contest.
