Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tamaqua topped by Panther Valley

The Panther Valley Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Tamaqua Blue Raiders to 46 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lehighton for a Schuylkill County 1 contest on Friday, January 13. Panther Valley will battle a Indians team coming off a 43-18 league win over Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA). The Indians record now stands at 3-2.

The Blue Raiders (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Mountain (Schuylkill Haven, PA). The Eagles come into the Schuylkill County 1 contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Blue Mountain prevailed over Pottsville (Pottsville, PA), 49-24, in a league contest.
