Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tamaqua nudges Panther Valley

February 3, 2023: Lansford, PA 18232

In Friday's league outing, the Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA) basketball squad edged the host Panther Valley Panthers (Lansford, PA), by a count of 51-48.

The Blue Raiders (6-15) will now prepare for their outing against Blue Mountain (Schuylkill Haven, PA). The Eagles go into the Schuylkill County 1 outing with a 18-3 record. In their last outing, Blue Mountain held off Pottsville (Pottsville, PA), 46-14, in a league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lehighton for a Schuylkill County 1 outing on Monday, February 6. Panther Valley will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 34-23 non-league loss to Louis E. Dieruff (Allentown, PA). The Indians record now stands at 4-6.
