Penn Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Plum Mustangs (Pittsburgh, PA), 43-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Penn Hills upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Indians host Lutheran East (Cleveland Heights, OH) to play the Falcons in a Lake Erie - Lake bout on Friday, January 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Lutheran East lost 69-47 in their recent non-league bout against Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 1 bout, on Thursday, January 12. Plum will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 61-48 league loss to Woodland Hills (Pittsburgh, PA).
