The Vandegrift Vipers basketball team (Austin, TX), dropped 50-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX)
The Dragons now possess a 21-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McNeil for a 6A Region IV District 25 battle on Friday, January 13. Round Rock will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 52-39 league win over Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 17-8.
The Vipers (7-18) will now prepare for their battle against Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX). The Raiders come into the 6A Region IV District 25 battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, Cedar Ridge beat Manor (Manor, TX), 50-46, in a league battle.
