The Vandegrift Vipers basketball team (Austin, TX), was nudged 47-41 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX)
The Dragons now possess a 24-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host McNeil for a 6A Region IV District 25 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Round Rock will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 52-29 league win over Vandegrift (Austin, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 21-11.
The Vipers (8-23) will now prepare for their battle against McNeil (Austin, TX). The Mavericks come into the 6A Region IV District 25 battle with a 20-11 record. In their last battle, McNeil edged Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX), 47-35, in a league battle.
