The Foothillers come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Grossmont lost 47-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA)

Next up, the Monarchs confront the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 13. Monte Vista will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 46-28 non-league loss to Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA).
