North Carolina High School Basketball - Ayden - Grifton tipped by SouthWest Edgecombe

The SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Ayden - Grifton Chargers to 41 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. SouthWest Edgecombe will meet a Pam Pack team coming off a 59-53 non-league win over North Pitt (Bethel, NC). The Pam Pack record now stands at 4-6.

The Chargers (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against West Craven (Vanceboro, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 9-3 record.
