North Carolina High School Basketball - Ayden - Grifton knocked off by SouthWest Edgecombe

The SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Ayden - Grifton Chargers to 43 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. SouthWest Edgecombe will meet a Pam Pack team coming off a 58-56 non-league win over North Pitt (Bethel, NC). The Pam Pack record now stands at 7-9.

The Chargers (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Washington, NC). The Pam Pack enter the non-league contest with a 7-9 record.
