Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC), 40-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Hunt upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to West Johnston (Benson, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-4. West Johnston lost 45-32 in their recent non-league bout against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 13. South Johnston will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 57-43 league win over Fike (Wilson, NC).
