The South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) basketball nipped the host Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC), 46-40 in Friday's league test.
The Trojans (12-6) will now prepare for their test against East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Warriors go into the test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, East Wake got by Fike (Wilson, NC), 61-20, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host West Johnston for a test on Tuesday, February 7. Hunt will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 60-55 league win over C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-11.
