The Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) basketball crushed the host Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC), 71-24 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 3-7 record.
The Patriots now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to Owen for a test on Thursday, January 12. Madison will encounter a Warhorses squad coming off a 47-36 league loss to Avery County (Newland, NC). The Warhorses record now stands at 1-11.
