North Carolina High School Basketball - Madison trounced by Mountain Heritage

In Friday's non-league test, the host Mountain Heritage Cougars basketball squad scored a big 69-34 win over the Madison Patriots.
The Cougars (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Draughn walloped Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC), 62-47, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 0-19 record. They play next when they host Owen for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Madison will encounter a Warhorses squad coming off a 57-30 league loss to Avery County (Newland, NC). The Warhorses record now stands at 2-15.
