Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 42-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Middlesex upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Chargers host Nandua (Onley, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Pointers play the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers (King & Queen Court House, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. West Point will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
