Virginia High School Basketball - Middlesex crushes West Point

Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 60-17 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Middlesex upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Chargers host Gloucester (Gloucester, VA) to play the Dukes in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Dukes come into the bout with a record of 3-7.
Next up, the Pointers play the Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. West Point will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record.
