The New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) basketball knocked off the host West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 54-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Hoggard notched a victory over Laney (Wilmington, NC), 54-44, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Brunswick for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. West Brunswick will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 39-36 non-league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-5.
