Blake Bears (Minneapolis, MN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks (Minneapolis, MN), 86-80 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blake upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Cherry (Iron, MN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Cherry won 100-74 in their recent non-league bout against Esko (Esko, MN)

Next up, the Red Hawks clash with the Holy Family Catholic Fire (Victoria, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Minnehaha Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Fire go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 95-63 league loss to Breck (Minneapolis, MN).
