The Gadsden Panthers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Da Vinci Dragons to 42 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Panthers now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deming for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Gadsden will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 52-19 non-league loss to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-12.
The Dragons (18-10) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Desert Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Santa Teresa ran past Varsity Opponent (, ), 61-27, in a non-league contest.
