In Wednesday's league outing, the Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), by a count of 40-38.

The Falcons (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Harding (Warren, OH). The Raiders go into the All-American outing with a 6-6 record.

The Spartans now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Harding for a All-American outing on Saturday, January 13. Boardman will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 39-36 non-league loss to Beaumont School (Cleveland Heights, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 6-6.
