Ohio High School Basketball - Boardman tops Austintown-Fitch

January 27, 2024: Youngstown, OH 44512

Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH), 56-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Boardman upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to East (Youngstown, OH) to play the in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The come into the bout with a record of 8-7. East won 49-30 in their recent non-league bout against McKinley (Niles, OH)

Next up, the Falcons play the Howland Tigers (Warren, OH) in a All-American bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Austintown-Fitch will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 58-45 league win over Canfield (Canfield, OH).
