New Philadelphia Quakers (New Philadelphia, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dover Crimson Tornadoes (Dover, OH), 32-26 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Philadelphia upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Quakers host Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH) to clash with the Tygers in a Ohio Cardinal bout on Saturday, January 13. The Tygers go into the bout with a record of 14-1. Mansfield Senior won 41-37 in their recent non-league bout against Richmond Heights (Richmond Heights, OH)
Next up, the Crimson Tornadoes clash with the Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Dover will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 56-36 league win over GlenOak (Canton, OH).
