Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Dover Crimson Tornadoes (Dover, OH) and the visiting New Philadelphia Quakers (New Philadelphia, OH), saw Dover's basketball squad knock off New Philadelphia by a count of 41-21.
With the victory, Dover upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Crimson Tornadoes host Steubenville (Steubenville, OH) to play the Big Red in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 23. The Big Red come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Steubenville won 57-37 in their recent league challenge against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV)
Next up, the Quakers play the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH) in a Ohio Cardinal challenge, on Saturday, December 23. New Philadelphia will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 61-31 non-league win over Clyde (Clyde, OH).
