The John Adams Spartans basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Jamaica Beavers to 40 in the Spartans league triumph on Wednesday.
The Spartans now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cardozo for a PSAL AAAA Queens II contest on Friday, January 12. John Adams will battle a Judges team coming off a 41-25 league loss to Jamaica (Jamaica, NY). The Judges record now stands at 5-4.
The Beavers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bayside (Bayside, NY). The Commodores enter the PSAL AAAA Queens II contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Bayside ran past Hillcrest (Jamaica, NY), 65-62, in a league contest.
