The Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) basketball crushed the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), 73-33 in Wednesday's league test.

The Wolverines (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Burns triumphed over Cherryville (Cherryville, NC), 50-39, in a league contest.
