The Science Park Chargers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting West Side Roughriders to 11 in the Chargers league victory on Wednesday.

The Chargers now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillside for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Science Park will battle a Comets team coming off a 63-43 non-league loss to Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Comets record now stands at 1-8.

The Roughriders (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Blue Bears come into the Super Essex - Freedom contest with a 0-5 record.
