In Friday's league test, the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA), by a score of 105-25.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA) in a Northwestern test, on Monday, January 13. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 8-0 season record. The Pioneers come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 71-38 non-league win over Clarke County (Berryville, VA).
The Tigers (0-10) will now prepare for their test against Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA). The Cougars come into the Northwestern test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Manassas Park was routed by Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA), 63-28, in a non-league test.
