In Friday's league test, the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) basketball squad trounced the host Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA), by a score of 87-10.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA) in a Northwestern test, on Tuesday, February 11. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 20-0 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 16-4 record after their 84-53 league loss to Handley (Winchester, VA).

The Tigers (1-20) will now prepare for their test against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA). The Falcons come into the Northwestern test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Fauquier bounced Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA), 60-32, in a league test.
