The Richland Springs Coyotes basketball team scored 86 points and limited the visiting Brookesmith Mustangs to 49 in the Coyotes league triumph on Friday.

The Coyotes now have a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Zephyr for a 1A Region IV District 25 game on Tuesday, January 14. Richland Springs will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 71-23 league win over Brookesmith (Brookesmith, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Brookesmith falls to 9-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Priddy (Priddy, TX) to confront the Pirates in a 1A Region IV District 25 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 3-9.
