The Richland Springs Coyotes basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Brookesmith Mustangs to 47 in the Coyotes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Coyotes now have a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Zephyr for a 1A Region IV District 25 game on Friday, February 7. Richland Springs will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 79-47 league win over Brookesmith (Brookesmith, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Brookesmith falls to 12-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Priddy (Priddy, TX) to confront the Pirates in a 1A Region IV District 25 game on Friday, February 7. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 3-12.
