The Chickasaw Chieftains basketball squad (Chickasaw, AL), was nudged 69-65 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Clarke County Bulldogs (Grove Hill, AL)
With the victory, Clarke County advances its record to 8-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host Sumter Central (York, AL) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league battle on Monday, January 13. The Jaguars enter the battle with a record of 5-6.
The Chieftains now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bayshore Christian for a 2A Area 1 battle on Tuesday, January 14.
