Texas High School Basketball - Loop routs Dawson

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Loop Longhorns basketball team scored a big 67-23 triumph over the Dawson Dragons.

The Longhorns (20-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Mustangs go into the 1A Region I District 6 contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Sands smashed Grady (Lenorah, TX), 36-27, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Dragons confront the Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX) in a 1A Region I District 6 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Dawson will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 68-61 league win over Borden County (Gail, TX).
